Connecting Las Vegas youth with performing professionals.

This summer the desert will be an oasis for students interested in the performing arts. The production company One Yellow Fish Inc. presents: The Las Vegas Performing Arts Intensive. The directors of TheLVPAI are husband and wife team, Matthew Banks (Blue Man, singer, songwriter, composer) and Naomi Stikeman (Celine Dion dancer, writer, film director).

With only 35 spaces available, students will revel in the one on one instruction they will receive from today’s top industry professionals. The stellar faculty and special guests are critically acclaimed performers who will join together this July from the following shows: O, Love, Viva Elvis, Le Reve, The Lion King, Chicago, Blue Man Group, Celine Dion and So You Think You Can Dance.

In addition to elite training, the summer intensive will encourage and provide a foundation for long lasting mentor relationships. Every day, students will participate in dancing, singing, acting and drumming lessons. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day.

Banks and Stikeman seek to inspire the youth of Las Vegas with expert instruction and to provide students with new skills and knowledge that will enhance their daily lives and future endeavors.

One Yellow Fish Inc. has received critical acclaim for their films and live stage productions: “a revolutionary creation that pushes the limits between genres” - “an incredible incarnation” - “an innovative and audacious project with an impeccable structure” and “a place where dance and cinema fuse together to deliver a brave tale.”  Their latest short film “Pink Navigator” is part of a multi-media installation at the new state of the art St. John’s Medical Center in Santa Monica, CA
